DR. ELENA-MARIA BURUIANA

She was born and raised in Romania, and received her medical degree from Timisoara University School of Medicine in 1992. Quickly after graduating, she moved to New York City with a fervent dream to build her own practice and set new standards for quality and personalized patient care experience.

In 1997, she finished Internal Medicine Residency at New York Hospital and became board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

In 2001, she finished Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Nassau University Medical Center affiliated with Stony Brook Medical Center.

Dr.Buruiana became Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003 and am now affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital.

ANCA STUPARU N.P.

We are very proud to have Anca Stuparu joining our practice in August 2019. Anca Stuparu is an alumni of the University of Minnesota where she is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Women’s Health. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, Writer and Cultural Ambassador. Anca Stuparu completed both undergraduate and graduate degree at The City University of New York, obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing Practice at Lehman College. She is Board Certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Family Medicine and holds a dual undergraduate degree in Nursing from CUNY and French Language and Literature from The University of West in Timisoara, Romania.

 Anca Stuparu has extensive experience as an NP in the area of Women’s Health. Since 2014 she has been working as an OB-GYN Emergency Medicine NP at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. From 2016-2017 she joined in parallel New York Surgical Specialists, Lenox Hills affiliated practice, as an NP specializing in breast disorders. In 2017 Anca Stuparu received privileges with New York Presbyterian at NYCH, currently Maimonides affiliated practicing as Emergency Medicine NP.

 Anca is passionate about her patients and has an integrative, comprehensive, psychological and holistic approach to medical practice.

 She is fluent in French, Spanish, German and Romanian.

In April 2019 she was awarded the title of Cultural Ambassador by The African Cultural Exchange for her role on the Medical Women’s Health Mission to Spanish Town, Jamaica.
